Tracy's 8 Cow Book is so good that I bought 5 copies -- I plan to give the book to my grandchildren to read when they turn 13. I want them to understand what is involved in making good relationship choices BEFORE they become emotionally involved with someone who won't make them happy in the long run. It will also help them to set appropriate goals for themselves.

Just begin with a question. Can you compare your concept with active listening? Where one can be able to tell if the partner is listening actively when he/she responds non-verbally. This concept has a great deal in relationships yet not keenly observed maybe due to ignorance or not knowledgeable. It is true active listening shows a sense of love and respect to whom you are communicating to.

Being divorced and thinking about what has gone wrong in my relationships, I found it refreshing to read the 8 Cow book. Tracy puts forward the idea that to succeed in a lasting and fruitful relationship, one must want to improve on what one can do to promote synergy. The 8 ideas that are brought forth in the book will guarantee a relationship to not only prosper, but it also shows how one can bond in a way that breaths fresh vitality that most couples haven't partaken of. Showing people that taking the "high road" and the harvest that this path provides is the essence of this book. I highly recommend it for those who seek to make their relationship one that is not only relished by both parties, but on that will edify the individuality of each partner to better heights!
